Reverend Edward B. Perry is a native of Goliad, Texas.
He was baptized as a Christian Believer at the Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Eagle Lake, Texas by the Rev. Paul L. Barrow.
He was licensed as a Christian Minister at the Holman Street Baptist Church, Houston, Texas by the Rev. Manson B. Johnson.
Rev. Perry was later Ordained at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church (Clute, Texas) by the Rev. Ricky L. Campbell.
He served as the senior pastor of the Bethsalem Baptist Church in Springfield Gardens, New York from 2002 to 2015.
Has written and published several recorded gospel songs which can be licensed for use from BMI. He has also released recording projects "I want to see His face", "The Ed Perry Project", and "Unconditional Love" which all can be purchased at Apple iTunes or at www.edwardperry.org. Ed Perry is currently in sessions at Wire Road Studios with Grammy Award-winning producer Billy Dorsey.
He is a retired Army Sergeant First Class (SFC/E7)
A graduate of Angleton High School (Angleton, Texas). Received his Bachelor of Science degree from NYACK College/Alliance Theological Seminary and has completed graduate course work, pending finalization and defense of his Thesis for a Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership at NYACK. Rev. Perry is using his pastoral sabbatical to conduct studies to test for National Certification as a Christian Counselor.
Works for the US Department of Veterans Affairs Benefits Administration as a Minority Veterans Program Coordinator and Public Contact Outreach Specialist
He is married to his wonderful wife Rana Robinson-Perry, and they are proud parents of twin boys Edward II and Elijah. They reside in Manvel, Texas and attend Holman Street Baptist Church (Houston, Texas), under the leadership of Senior Pastor Rev. Murray C. Martin, where he serves as Director of Sunday School.
His greatest servant’s desire is to preach and teach the unadulterated Word of God and perform the ministry service of a Psalmist.
